Our Story
Born in the hard times. Made for the good ones.
The Whole Messy Truth
Some businesses start with a polished pitch deck over oat-milk lattes. This one started in the emotional equivalent of a dumpster fire.
In a stretch of time that felt like a bad cosmic joke, I was diagnosed with cancer, and Lupus... lost my best friend, lost my dog, and watched the entire world grind to a screeching halt in a pandemic. There were days I had entirely too much grief and absolutely no idea what to do with my hands. Doomscrolling was not cutting it.
When life completely falls apart, your brain hunts for safety in the rearview mirror. For me, that meant standing on a chair in my grandmother's kitchen, covered in flour, learning that creating things from scratch can fix a surprising amount of inner turmoil. Grandma believed in the therapy of busy hands, zero nonsense, and making something real when the world felt anything but.
So, I started making things again. Not as a five-year business strategy, but because melting, pouring, and formulating kept me anchored to the floor.
Old World Skill. New World Whimsy.
What began as grief therapy morphed into a line of thoughtful, consumable art built with a serious respect for the craft and an utter refusal to take life too seriously. We lean on classic artisan techniques, but we leave the stuffy, fragile pretense at the door.
Think of it as the discipline of a meticulous soap and candle maker, run by someone whose sense of humour is slightly unhinged. Safe, beautifully made, and undeniably cheeky.
Mindful, Honest, and Built to Last (Until You Use It Up)
Facing your own mortality ruins your tolerance for marketing fluff. We will not look you in the eye and claim our products are "100% pure untouched wilderness magic," because chemistry is real and good ingredients need smart, stable formulations.
What we do promise is radical care. We choose skin-safe, rigorously tested, and responsibly sourced ingredients. We keep our packaging low-waste and our footprint intentional. Consumable art means you get to enjoy something gorgeous, use every single drop of it, and send empty, guilt-free containers on their way.
For the Ones Who’ve Had Hard Years Too
If life has recently handed you a shit deal, you are in good company. You do not need an aesthetically flawless life or a serene morning routine to deserve a little everyday joy. You just have to be here, breathing, and we will handle the rest.
Thank you for being part of this messy, wonderful ride.
With love (and a healthy dose of irreverence),
Audy
